The most appealing benefit of trenchless pipe lining is the opportunity to avoid traditional repair methods that tend to be much more disruptive, time-consuming, and costly. Re-lining methods also tend to be compatible with all types of pipe systems, such as mains, sanitary/waste systems, industrial/commercial systems, and residential and municipal systems.
What does the lining process look like?
SPT Ohio’s no-dig, trenchless pipe lining, also called cured-in-place Pipe (CIPP) lining, and epoxy barrier coating processes use existing pipe access points, leaving you with a seamless pipe-within-a-pipe, without the destruction, time, hassle, and cost of pipe replacement.
Pipe lining works on all major types of piping materials. We typically rely on our cured-in-place pipe lining wherein we insert a textile liner into the damaged pipe. The liner is impregnated using a liquid resin, an epoxy base, as well as a hardener. Afterward, the bladder inflates the pipe liner, pressing the epoxy against the inside of the pipe walls. Once it cures, the bladder is deflated leaving your pipe repaired.
